 <description><![CDATA[<p>STATEN ISLAND, NY -- On Richmond Road, one block west of New Dorp Lane, sits the recently opened Francescas Steak House and Italian Restaurant.  Its menu of hearty Italian dishes and carnivorous grilled fare seemed perfectly suited to the damp grayness of late winter days.  We settled in.</p><p>Appetizers and salads were predominately seafood, no complaint here, and two really impressed.  Ahi Tuna Tartar, sushi grade as advertised, flavored with capers and lemon and protected by grilled asparagus spears, was delicious.  As was Crab Cake, with lobster cream sauce and surrounded by roasted potato and vegetables.</p>]]></description>
