We have had our dog on a diet of people food for the past 6 years and she has never been in better health and she is now almost 14 years old. She eats what we eat which is organic, nutritious foods. She eats veggies, and fresh meats, and fish, and carbs, and whatever else we are eating. Shell even eat a plain salad. Food was not meant to be the way modern dog food is and a balanced diet of fresh food is much better than the packaged nonsense you get from typical dog food. It costs more money but the positive benefit on her health from eating nothing but organic "people food" has been extraordinary.
