The Pasta Factory in Latham said it will donate 20 percent of its proceeds between 5:30 p. m. and 8:30 p. m. today to the Food Pantries for the Capital District, which supports51 food pantries throughout the region.

The event comes as food pantries prepare for the upcoming holiday season amid a sluggish economy that has boosted demand for their services.
