Not surprisingly, there appeared to be a correlation between enthusiasm for a given network and the quality of their presentations to individual agencies/advertisers during the 2006 upfront season. Discovery Networks were the most well-received group, as 81 percent of the execs surveyed gave the nets either a four or a five on a five-point scale, followed by a triad of MTV Networks properties in Comedy Central (78 percent), Spike TV (76 percent) and MTV (75 percent). Scripps Networks also earned high marks from 75 percent of those surveyed.
