In her memory, Hannahs Gift has delivered home cooked food to the third floor every week for the last nine years. Volunteer help has expanded to Orange County churches, the Orange Police Department and other organizations. Groups rotate cooking duties every month.

Many families stay in their rooms, so Sue Lacko packages food into boxes. Hannahs Gift generally serves about 35 to 40 meals, but has often provided more than 50.

Chade and Lacko bring trays of food to a lounge area, feeding about 35 to 40 people. They have served as few as 30 meals and as many as 50 or more at a time. The women serve everything in to-go boxes so families can take food back to their rooms.
